FAQ

Do you accept new patients?
Yes. We welcome new patients. We allocate time for new patients each day to minimise your waiting time. To ensure a great start to improving your oral care, we suggest starting with a comprehensive check-up.

Do you treat young children?
Yes. We love working with children and suggest bringing them in for a check up from as early as 12 months of age to ensure they become comfortable coming to the dentist from an early age.

Do you see emergency patients?
Yes. We allocate time for emergencies each day. We understand that emergencies arise at unexpected and inconvenient times, and we'll do our best to accommodate you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please call us for help.

What type of dentistry do you practice?
We practice comprehensive general, orthodontics, cosmetic and implant dentistry. We use the latest proven techniques to give our patients superior quality results.

Can I claim my private health insurance rebate on the spot?
Yes. All you have to pay is the "gap" (out-of-pocket amount). Please bring your private health fund card with you.

How much can I claim?
Dental benefits vary significantly depending on your health fund and level of cover. We are able to check how much you can claim from some health funds; for other health funds you will need to contact them directly. Please ask us if you need help with this.

Do you use tooth-coloured fillings?
Yes. We use a range of the latest materials that look natural, are difficult to detect, strengthen your teeth, and last longer. This includes using CEREC technology - this allows us to make and fit superior quality porcelain fillings in one appointment. We can discuss this and other options with you, and recommend the one that best suits your needs. We generally do not use metal or silver fillings.

Do you use digital radiography?
Yes. Digital x-rays images are sharper and can be manipulated for better diagnosis (they are captured by a sensor, not film). More importantly, a patient's exposure to radiation is greatly reduced because digital x-rays require only about 1/6 of the radiation.

How can I keep my dental costs to a minimum?
Based on our combined experience treating thousands of patients over the years, it is very noticeable that patients who attend regular six-monthly examinations end up spending less money, needing less treatment and keeping their teeth for longer. Regular examinations are the best way to keep on top of your dental health and pick up any problems as early as possible.
